Messing around....

I was messing around on the computer, and made a little mini video. I want to send one to Jordan, what do you think? I will do it cuter with more pictures of course.

Go Jazz Go!

For the boys' birthdays we (mom, eric and me) got the boys jazz tickets! We were able to get four for about 63 dollars each! They were great seats too! It was so much fun and my first game of the season..opps! lol I almost got my husband's (kyle korver)autograph too but some security guy had to be rude! It was a way fun night and really helped me to get my mind off of Jord, this weekend was a hard one for me! I know I can always count on my wonderful family to help me out when I'm down! I also can't forget a fabulous dinner at my favorite place ever! Tepanyakis! It was delicious!! I can't believe how big my brothers are getting though, I probably sound like my mother, but really I was the one learning how to drive yesterday now they both are learning! I love them so much!! They are such great boys! Happy Birthday!!

Army Update!

Jordan has been able to talk briefly! Not anymore now though! He got shipped off to training at 3 AM. He can only write letters from this point on, at least for 7 weeks! I got good news though, I ca ngo see him when he is in fort sam houston! Jane, Jordan's aunt lives in texas and she told me she would get me a free ticket so I can go! Life is good, as much as I miss him, each day is getting easier! Being at his house yesterday really helped me surprisingly! He has sent a couple pics, with his head shaved and in his uniform! He looks so happy and good! I loved his long hair, but he is an army guy now and has to have the buzz! haha Its all real now seeing these pictures! Man, I love that kid! I got to talk to him on the phone at his mom's last night, He has been in south carolina for three days and he has a southern accent! haha its way funny! It makes my day hearing it, I wish I could talk to him more cause of it! He has a watch and everything now too and talks in military time! Its weird to hear and see the changes in him already! He is changing into a man, and I couldn't be more proud of him!

My cute mommy is the best! I came home last night to a pink rose (my favorite) sitting on my bed with a card! Just knowing that she is there for me and does cute things like that make me smile! I am so lucky to have her! She is my best friend! I love you mom!

I love you.

So as most of you know, Jordan left to basic training in south Carolina today. He left at 9:45 this morning. He had a layover in Atlanta where I got to talk to him for a few minutes, then I got to talk to him again when he landed in South Carolina at about 4:30 our time. They have taken his phone now, shaved his head, and given him his camo. He has to earn his phone privileges by how well he does in training, and it can only be used Sundays. Not being able to talk to him will be the hardest for me. That kid is so unbelievably strong for a 19 year old though. He was so proud to be going to do what he was, and was very strong for all the rest of us bawl babies. He didn't show any kind of nerves or breakdowns, he was just the same amazingly perfect Jordan I love. This is going to do great things for him as well as myself, I know we are meant to be together so this will be great for our future, and eternity is way longer than six months away. Its been a great few days all together though I have spent every waking moment with Jordan this weekend. We had his mom's "going away party" on Saturday, which is when it started to hit me this was real. (I kept hoping up until the minute the plane took off-Jordan's officer was Ashton Kutcher and were being punked. but no such luck.) Monday we spent all day together saying goodbye to grandparents and my family. I took him to lunch, and of course cried the whole time. We also made me a build a bear army one with his voice in it for me. Then monday night we went to dinner and we stayed up till 4 am with Jord's whole family playing games, which were a blast, I of course was sick the whole time but still had fun. We shed a few tears last night but a lot of laughs. This morning we were lucky enough to get visitors passes to go through security with Jordan. We thought we would get a lot of time sitting with him before he boarded, but to your dismay, right as we find his gate, they are boarding. We didn't get much time then to say goodbye cause he had to be the big bad army kid who had to be professional and board the plane on time. I tried to hold in my tears until he came around to hug me.. yeah not so good! Luckily Cherree-his stepmom has been through this before and was able to hold me to contain myself. I'm lucky to be so close to Jordan's wonderful family. I love them. Jordan's cute grandma, left her idea and wasn't able to get a visitors pass, even though the cute man was trying everything he can, it was a no go, so the Cordova grandparents had to say goodbye at security, which we later were jealous of thier goodbye time over ours. It has been incredibly hard today, but it can only get easier from here. I have to look forward to him coming home instead of leaving, and then hopefully, we will have a future to look forward to together. I love you Jordan, be safe and I'm praying for you.

Happy 2010!!!

Happy New Year!! Its crazy how fast 2009 went! My new years was really laid back, but it's ok cause I was with the people I love the most. On new Years eve I went to a four hour lunch with Kelli and her mom. I love them and miss them! They make me want to be a better person, so it was a great new start to a new year! We went to Chili's.. YUMMY! Then Jordan came over for a bit then while my mom went to get food for us we stopped by at his parents.. first Robbie's then Lisa's. It was fun we talked and ate pizza then when we came back to my house we ate even more and played games. I was tired by midnight lol I'm old now! It was fun overall! We had some fun with the cops too... Conner can tell you more about that one. Well 12AM came along, we had fun celebrating and getting new years kisses, then it was time for bed! Once again, It was very laid back, but it was fun! I loved it!
